Who doesn’t enjoy a meal out with friends or relatives. I enjoy eating out trying different restaurants. However, we all have that friend that always likes to go big when you eat out.🍔😋
Enjoying good food and continuing to lose weight is certainly possible, it just comes with a little thought and simple structure:
➡️ Try somewhere new.
Find a nice restaurant or visit one that has been recommended recently. Having a sit-down meal with someone is far more beneficial and enjoyable. Not only that going for a meal controls your plate portions and reducing the chances of over eating.✅
➡️ Plan your evening.
If you know you are going out, think about where you would like to go and get a table booked. I hear from a lot of our clients that venture out that they end up trying to decide on the night where they want to go. This usually leads to not being able to eat where you want, or they manage to get a table however not until late.📲
➡️ Enjoy your food.
This is when you should take your time and enjoy your food. Appreciate the food and the fact you are not eating out of tupperware.😉
➡️ Take your time.
Taking your time while eating reduces the chances of you overeating. For those that are staying on top of their calorie intake know that portion control is essential for dieting, however one meal off plan will not affect your overall goal.😋
➡️ Use the calories.
If you have been out for a nice meal and consumed more than your usual calories, you need to utilise that intake. You may have consumed more than usual which is ideal for a heavy training session. I always schedule a heavy training session the day after a cheat meal, I feel I have a lot more energy and really helps when performing heavy sets.🏋🏻♂️
If you are heading out this weekend for some food consider these points and you will be able to stay on track with your weight lose schedule.
