Will lifting weight make a female bulkyπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€

No πŸ™…πŸΌβ€β™€

Gaining muscle mass depends upon a mixture of genetics, gender, nutritional intake and weight lifted πŸ–πŸ—

Muscle bulk is massively dependent upon testosterone. Females do not make anywhere near enough testosterone when compared to males in order to produce that β€˜bulking’ look πŸ’ͺ🏻

For a female to become bulky you will most likely have to be consuming some type of steroid along with a HUGE protein intake from food/supplementation as well as lifting extremely heavy on a regular basis πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€

Why should women lift weights?πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€

Lifting weights will increase your fat free mass (muscle) which means you will be burning more calories during the day thus burning more calories when your outside of the gymπŸŽ‰

Weight training is higher impact than basic cardio training and therefore will have a greater effect on your body and make your training more beneficial. Having said that, do not abandon cardio. Instead, ensure you include both types of training πŸš΄πŸΌβ€β™€

Weight lifting will also; increase bone and muscle strength, improve self confidence, improve neurological factors, reduce the risk of diabetes through improving insulin sensitivity, improve blood pressure control, prevents injury and aids fat loss during trainingπŸ₯‡πŸ†
